Including underwater treadmill and an indoor heated pool, AWCOC’s pet hydrotherapy is a great form of exercise. Swimming provides excellent exercise for your canine companion and provides both muscle strengthening and a good cardiovascular workout. Swimming is a great way for dogs to burn off extra energy, decreases weight bearing through the joints and reduces pain. Water resistance provides gentle range of motion and strengthens your pet’s limbs. Pets also experience neurological re-education and psychological benefits because they can exercise without pain.
